Saqsa, which means multi-colored in the Inca Quechua language, is all about embracing diversity, bringing people together and paying respect to our environment.

Our main goal is to not only create tasty food, but to work in a sustainable environment where the menu changes as the seasons do, to ensure the highest quality of produce. And don’t forget that, the only durable emotion during a meal, is that provided by taste.

OUR TEAM


Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

Born in Brazil and having lived in different countries across the world, our Chef João Proença, brings with him an eclectic and worldly menu that is predominantly French inspired thanks to his studies at the Alain Ducasse Institute in Paris, but still offering an exotic flare.

Jellena van Mill is our Restaurant Manager and her love of food and passion for people will bring you a memorable experience. With a manager background nurtured in different Restaurants in The Hague, she will ensure that the dining room is kept as its very best before, during and after service.

In the background the team is complemented by our General Manager Arif Kallan.
His sense of organisation and financial skills gained in the banking sector, oversees the running of the restaurant from the finances to promotion to the floor.
